In celebration of its 120th Anniversary, Winter Hill Bank (“Bank”) is proud to recognize and support the local charitable organizations that help make our communities stronger.
Through the Bank’s 120th Anniversary Community Giving Campaign (“Promotion”), members of the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite eligible local charity.
Over the course of 120 days, the Bank will award three (3) donations of $1,200 each, for a total of $3,600 in charitable donations.
- PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion begins on September 1, 2026, and ends on December 30, 2026.
The Promotion will consist of three approximately 40-day voting periods:
First Voting Period
September 1, 2026 through October 11, 2026
Donation Award Date: October 11, 2026
Second Voting Period
October 12, 2026 through November 20, 2026
Donation Award Date: November 20, 2026
Third Voting Period
November 21, 2026 through December 30, 2026
Donation Award Date: December 30, 2026
All voting ends on December 30, 2026.
The Bank’s designated timekeeping system shall be the official timekeeper for the Promotion.
- HOW TO VOTE
Participants will select one eligible charitable organization from the organizations presented in the applicable voting period and submit their vote according to the instructions provided on the voting page.
Limit: One vote per person, per email address, per day for the 120-day voting period.
No purchase, payment, deposit, loan, account opening, or other banking relationship is required to vote.
The Bank reserves the right to disregard votes that it reasonably determines were generated through automated voting, bots, scripts, fictitious identities, duplicate accounts, vote manipulation, or other methods inconsistent with the spirit or terms of this Promotion.
- ELIGIBLE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
Eligible charities will be selected or approved by the Bank and identified on the official voting page.
To receive a donation, an organization must be a legitimate charitable or nonprofit organization in good standing and satisfy any eligibility requirements established by the Bank.
The Bank reserves the right to verify an organization’s eligibility before issuing a donation.
Political candidates, political campaigns, political action committees, organizations primarily engaged in political campaigning, and organizations that do not satisfy the Bank’s charitable giving policies are not eligible.
- SELECTION OF CHARITY RECIPIENTS
At the conclusion of each Voting Period, the Bank will tally all eligible votes received during that period.
The eligible charitable organization receiving the highest number of valid votes during that Voting Period will be designated the recipient of a $1,200 donation from the Bank.
The anticipated award dates are:
- October 11, 2026 — $1,200 Donation
- November 20, 2026 — $1,200 Donation
- December 30, 2026 — $1,200 Donation
A total of three (3) $1,200 charitable donations will be awarded during the Promotion.
Total charitable giving: $3,600.
- VOTING RESET
Following the conclusion of each Voting Period, vote totals will reset to zero for the next Voting Period.
Each Voting Period will therefore represent a new opportunity for participating charities to receive a $1,200 donation.
A charity receiving a $1,200 donation will no longer be eligible for subsequent Voting Periods, allowing remaining charitable organizations a chance to receive donations during the Promotion.
- TIES
In the event that two or more eligible charitable organizations receive the same highest number of valid votes at the conclusion of a Voting Period, the Bank will use a random drawing conducted by the Bank from among the remaining tied organizations. The drawing will be witnessed by at least two Bank employees who are not directly responsible for administering or promoting the voting campaign. to determine the recipient.
The Bank will apply any tie-breaking procedure consistently and in good faith.
- DONATIONS
Each selected charitable organization will receive a donation of $1,200 directly from the Bank.
Donations:
- Have no cash value to individual voters;
- May not be assigned or transferred by a voter;
- Will be made directly to the selected charitable organization; and
- Are subject to verification of the organization’s eligibility.
If a selected organization is determined to be ineligible, declines the donation, ceases operations, or cannot accept the donation for any reason, the Bank reserves the right to award the donation to the eligible organization receiving the next-highest number of valid votes during that Voting Period.
